Planting trees with ASSIST

As one old wisdom says, it is not only a man who works for a living... so one day we decided to enjoy a spring sabbath in nature and at the same time do something for our planet and the environment.

As one old wisdom says, it is not only a man who works for a living... so one day we decided to enjoy a spring sabbath in nature and at the same time do something for our planet and the environment.
We were waiting for the event Planting trees with ASSIST.

We planted trees just outside Prague, in the forest near Nechánic in the district of Prague-East. It was a pleasant spring day, neither hot nor cold, the sun shone from the morning.

We got the coordinates of where to go along our own axis.

About 1000 small seedlings of deciduous trees and conifers were prepared for us, so the children present could handle the planting with assistance.

When all the trees were in the ground, we roasted stews together and whoever wanted and had time arrived at the nearby pub U Zdenka, where we had a late lunch and sat for a while.

We were heartened by the pleasant feeling of a job well done and the knowledge that small saplings in a few decades will form a healthy mixed forest, “our assistance” forest, into which, for example, we or our children will go for mushrooms and remember one sunny day we spent together years ago at a relaxed company-family event.
