How Time Went
Establishment of ASSIST spol. s r. o.
We partner with IBM Power Systems (AS/400) midrange computer systems and IBM z Systems mainframes (S/390).
We develop software products on the AS/400 platform - Investment Property /400, Accounting /400, Finance /400.
The French company Renault started in 1998. Since 2011, ASSIST has become the exclusive partner of Renault.
We sign a partnership with IBM CR for translation of IT documentation into Czech language.
We start lending teams and specialists (outsourcing).
We run an undergraduate program - lectures, internships, certifications, AS/400 test environment.
We receive the highest credibility rating from Bisnode ČR.
Teaching and lecturing activities for clients.
We are starting to connect IBM platforms to the Internet and web services.
We are expanding the company portfolio with cloud services - Salesforce CRM platform and Google Apps for Work virtual office applications.
We become an authorized company for the provision of the professional qualification 'Programmer'.
We deploy advanced technologies on AWS, GCP and their DevOps environments.

I founded ASSIST in 1992 with a clear vision — to provide people with jobs that enjoy and take them further. I base myself on openness and a friendly demeanor and firmly believe that fair communication and a friendly approach are key to long-term relationships, whether within the team or towards our customers and business partners. The foundation of any successful business is the people who make it — and they are the greatest value to me.
As the owner of the company, I determine its direction and long-term strategy. However, the most valuable thing is not the numbers or plans, but the people and relationships that make up the company. I believe that real success comes when our work makes sense — for us, for our partners and for the future of the company.
I'm Richard Bouška, CTO at ASSIST. I lead the Architecture Chapter, where we follow trends, share know-how and find ways to connect innovation with effective solutions. I focus on sustainable development, which gives companies a long-term competitive advantage. I appreciate ASSIST for its growth support and the friendly atmosphere that remains even with the dynamic development of the company.
As COO at ASSIST, I ensure the efficient operation of development, process optimization and support of the management team. I lead a senior managers and DevOps team focused on infrastructure, security and cloud technologies. Stability, quality and systematic process management are key for me. I believe in transparent collaboration, a strong team and an environment where everyone can develop without fear of making mistakes.
At ASSIST, I lead a team of data specialists, manage back office processes and I am the Deputy of COO. I have been with the company for 17 years and my experience combines strategic management with an emphasis on teamwork and efficient processes. For me, open communication, professional growth and fostering an environment in which people can develop their full potential is key. I believe that a well-functioning team is the foundation of a successful business.
